Magic! Pity and with Great respect, they will never replace Steam along there, but Thank You anyway.

No prob Very Happy

The way I think about is; Yes the Steam and the Class 310s & 312s were way better and more intresting, but if I photo the Class 357s now, 30 years down the line when there might be some new trains on the line... I'll be looking at those pics thinking "I've got a piece of history there" Wink Cool

While making another flying visit to Dagenham the weekend, I got to Dagenham Dock station and took a few photo's, despite some P/A announcement being made that was inaudible up on the main station footbridge and by the 'Invisible Man' as I have named him now. One I got was of class 357 001, working the 12.34 service to Grays.

Here's an update from me - Hadleigh Castle Footcrossing: http://37427.fotopic.net/c1441765.html

Location for all but the last shot:

If you have the time you can take a 20 minute walk to a footcrossing nearby to Hadleigh Castle.
I very much doult the station staff will travel all the way out there just to pester you! Laughing

Alternatively, if your sort of time (or just don't want to walk far) a good spot to go is Benfleet. There's a footcrossing outside the station boundries so you shouldn't get disturbed Wink - Although you do get some very dodgy looks from the drivers! Shocked

Taken at good old Dagenham Dock and without stupid interference from the P/A System about being a Terrorist.

Followed by the same one having departed and another arrival, this time on the Up road, after having dashed across the footbridge to get it.
