I found this appeal on another forum tonight and could NOT resist posting it on here, hoping many of you will read and support it. For those who do join, Thank You.

When I went through a bad patch a while back I looked around the net to find a board where I could talk to other parents with children with special needs. I couldn't find one.
Having become involved in a new project in Nottingham where parents go out and meet other parents who have children with recent diagnosis's to offer hope, help and support I felt it a shame that there wasn't much on the net for parents who maybe couldn't get out or who hadn't the confidence to meet and talk to someone face to face. Anyway, to cut a long story short I have built one and it can be found here.

As you can imagine the hardest thing is going to be to get the membership up so that we get plenty of posts going to encourage others to join. I thought I'd post this here in case any of you know anyone who might find something like this useful.
