Pictured below is the now Preserved Green EMU Class 306 017 that once worked this line and pictured next to an LT unit at Upminster.

I have a very strong feeling this was run on what we knew as a 'Network Day' by NetworkSouthEast.

See www.bramleyline.org.uk where one day we just might see an Ex-LT&SR Standard 4 steaming along as a Guest loco.

This was where recently seen being shunted out of Ilford Depot and talk soon followed that it was to be moved. It has since been denied that it is to be moved. What a pity it can't be put in to service on some 'Special' again? I miss the days of the 'Specials' that were run when we had the Network Days and loco hauled EMU'S, as well as Preserved stock out on line.
