Noticed this a while back.

Thought you might be interested to know Heartland Rail are running a tour entitled "The Kursall Flyer" from Gloucester to Southend Central for the Southend Airshow on Monday 26th May 2008. Motive power 2x Cotswold Rail 47s.

I should be at either Benfleet or Hadleigh footcrossings for the outbound then Southend Central to see the return. Smile - That's if everything runs to plan! Confused
