Old news makes no difference. I do actually read the Echo pages every day as I have them listed in My favourites. There is another forum for Essex people on http://z7invisionfree.com/Essex_Friends/index.php and not railway orientated. For another railway one of Essex, go to http://cambshertsessex.myfreeforum.org/index.php? and if you wish to join, please do so. IF you experience problems getting to Essex friends, there is an UNDERSCORE line between X and F that doesn't always show on link.
