I do apologise Gents, but despite being in Dagenham to see the New Year in, I was unable to go out and get any photographs even though I had 3 cameras and film with me, but as I always take my elderly father and he was ill while there, I stayed with him rather than worry about photos. Hopefully next time we go, I will be able to get some.

I am awaiting the answer as to where the green unit is as photographed at Upminster years ago and reported to be in Ilford Depot.

I believe it tucked away right at the back of the depot awaiting some (fairly) major electrical work to it, as well as having to have OTMR & TPWS to it before it can run on the main line again (ie it has probably run for the last time) - but I stand to be corrected.

Wouldn't it be nice to see a Preservation Group raise the cash to get it running again? I WOULD do all I can to help raise the money for this beauty.

Hi Guys, I do apologise, but yesterday I paid a flying visit to Dagenham and despite crossing the line on the way there and back, then visiting Dagenham Dock, I never got any photographs. Even if I did, I can't get them on here as TalkTalk have yet to transfer my Broadband from the old line and two weeks ago, then told me today it will be another 15 days. AVOID TalkTalk. They are CRAP.
